 NOVIS
translates as 'Dutch Order Of Intimacy-coaches & Surrogate partners'.
NOVIS
supports the Dutch community of professionals in the field of surrogate partner
therapy, which includes surrogate partners, intimacy coaches and individuals
supportive of surrogate partner therapy.
NOVIS
certifies and registers all intimacy coaches and surrogate partners who qualify
to our standards and who undersign our codes of practice, These codes include:
• ethical code
•
health code
•
triangle code (working in the coaching triangle of client, surrogate
partner and
coach/therapist)
•
coaching competencies
NOVIS's
major focuses are:
•
maintaining the quality of the registered coaches by supporting
training, intervision and
supervision activities
•
provide information about the positive effects of surrogate
partner therapy on people
with sexual problems to medical,
healthcare and government organizations and individual
therapists.
